Hounslow Homes is governed by a board of 15 members. The board is made up of five Tenant Board Members, five Council Board Members and five Independent Board Members. Alf Chandler - Chair
Alf Chandler has a long-standing involvement in Tenant Participation. Currently, he is the Chair of Hounslow Homes Board and of the Housing Management Forum for the Central area. Other working groups include Energy Working Group and Hounslow Homes Editorial Board. Alf has had vast experience in tenant training including international training in Sweden. Lee Cartwright has been elected as the new Independent Hounslow Homes Board member. A Chartered Accountant, he has worked with clients in the social housing sector since 1995 including a range of ALMOs and until recently was a Special Constable with West Midlands Police. Lee started on the 4 October after he was officially sworn in at the Hounslow Homes Annual General Meeting. Lee is excited about his new position with Hounslow Homes. Linda Leeming Linda Leeming is a retired Grove Park Tenant having spent over 30 years in the Communications industry. As a former Board Member of the British Fashion Council and Blenheim Exhibitions Group, her experience spans both public and business sectors. Linda is totally committed to improving our social environment. Andy Lee
Andy Lee has lived in Feltham for over 20 years and actively engages in community matters. He is Chair of the Frank Towell Court Resident’s Association and is keen to help improve services provided to all residents in the borough. Lawrence O'Connor Lawrence O’Connor,a business professional and father of three, has lived and worked in Hounslow for 15 years, including 12 as a leaseholder. Lawrence has always been actively involved in trying to bring about positive change on his estate, in the community and across the Borough. Councillor John Cooper
John Cooper has lived in Feltham all his life and has been on the Council since May 2002, serving on a number of committees including Borough Council, West Area Committee and Sustainable Development Committee. John is an active member of a number of Hounslow Homes Board Committees, Forums and Working Groups including Best Value & Scrutiny Committee, Housing Management Forums (East and West) and Housing Management Working Group. Councillor Rajinder Bath
Rajinder Bath has lived in Hounslow for over 40 years and been on the council since 1990, including serving as Mayor in 1998. He is active locally in social and community work. He serves on the Personnel Sub Committee and other commitments include being a member of the licensing Committee, Overview and Scrutiny Panel and being a member of the Hounslow Race Equality. He has also been the Chair of Equal Opportunities and Chair of the Multi-Cultural Society. Councillor Paul Fisher
Paul Fisher has lived in Isleworth for 10 years now and is active locally in community matters. He has been a Councillor since May 2006 and serves on a number of Borough Committees as well as many outside bodies. He is also Chair of the Isleworth and Brentford Area Committee. Councillor Samantha Davies
Samantha Davies is a resident of the borough and a qualified solicitor. She is active locally in social and community work and is currently the Chair of the Gunnersbury Park Joint Committee. She serves on a variety of committees and outside bodies and is the Chair of the Licensing Committee. Councillor Gillian Hutchison
Gillian Hutchison has been a leaseholder for 12 years and is involved in the local Tenant’s/Resident’s Association. She has been a Councillor since May 2006 and is actively involved locally in community work serving on a number of committees including Tenants/Leaseholder Joint Consultative Committee and the West Area Committee. David Procter is a residential property consultant specialising in managing private rental properties in Brentford for clients based throughout the world. His company has associate offices in the USA. He is currently Vice Chair of the National Federation of ALMOs. Mohammad Chaudhary
Mohammad Chaudhary is a financial analyst with indepth experience of management, cost accounting, capital accounting and project management. He is an active member of the Board and serves on a number of committees and working groups including being the Chair of the Finance Sub Committee and Chair of the Complaints Panel. Mohammad also has extensive experience in dealing with local community issues and other appointments include being Governor of a local secondary school, the Vice Chair of Hounslow Police Community Group and the President of the Pakistan Welfare Association in Hounslow. Paula Lewis
Paula Lewis is a human resources specialist with considerable experience of working in the public sector including housing management and local government. She actively contributes to a number of committees and forums and is the Chair of the Personnel Sub Committee and sits on the Housing Management Central Area Forum. Other commitments include the Institute of Personnel and Development and community based organisations. Michael Jones
Michael Jones has extensive knowledge of social housing. He is Vice Chair of the Finance Sub Committee and Chair of the Housing Management Working Group. He is also the Chair of the Board of Homes for Haringey. Sukhvinder Duggal
Sukhvinder Duggal is a Senior Manager for a large accountancy firm based in Central London, and has over 10 years of infrastructure projects in the public sector. His experience includes financial planning and management, Public Private Partnerships and Private Finance Initiative expertise, performance improvement and strategy advice. |
