Getting Involved

Hounslow Homes is strongly committed to encouraging leaseholders to get involved in the decisions that affect them and their estates. We have a Leaseholders' Forum, which is made up of twelve volunteer leaseholder representatives from across the borough. The forum also includes a Hounslow Homes Leaseholder Board member and two members from the Hounslow Federation of Tenants' and Residents' Associations.(HFTRA).

The Forum meets every two months to discuss the delivery of housing services and ongoing developments. Hounslow Homes works with this Forum to improve services for leaseholders.

The Home Ownership Unit has 2 key functions:

The administration of the Right to Buy process
The maintenance of leaseholder records and the identification, calculation and recovery of charges due under residential leases
