Don't miss the HFTRA 'Lighting the Flame' annual conference - takes place 8 September 2012
The Hounslow Federation of Tenants and Residents Associations (HFTRA) conference will be held on 8 September 2012, at the Civic Centre, Hounslow.
In the spirit of the London 2012 Olympics the theme this year is 'Lighting the Flame'. HFTRA have full day planned, with a quiz in the main hall, presentations from Dave Cox, Chair of HFTRA, Councillor Steve Curran and Bernadette O'Shea and a housing bingo session in the afternoon. The market place will be also be open with interesting stalls to visit.
Each annual conference has a range of workshops for you to attend and this year is no exception. You'll be able to choose from:

The Civic Centre is based in: Lampton Road Hounslow TW3 4DN.

By Tube
The closest underground station is Hounslow Central on the Piccadily line. Turn right out of the station and it's a 5 minute walk to the Civic Centre.
Mainline trains
The nearest mainline station is Hounslow which is about a 20 minute walk to the Civic Centre. Hounslow railway station is in Travelcard Zone 5. The station and all trains serving it are operated by South West Trains.
The typical off-peak service from the station is six trains per hour to London Waterloo, four via Brentford and two via Richmond, and two trains per hour to Weybridge.
By bus
The following buses stop in Lampton Road or outside the Civic Centre.
The H20 bus stops outside Civic Centre and goes from Ivybridge to Isleworth
The 120 runs between Hounslow & Southall and also stops outside Civic Centre
By Car
Parking will be available in the main staff car park, look out for the marshalls on the day who will direct you to the entrance
