Important information about renting a garage from Hounslow Homes:
Garages can only be used for the storage of motorised vehicles and for no other purpose.
- Hounslow Homes tenants and leaseholders cannot rent a garage if they have rent/service charge arrears. Should your account go into arrears your garage will be repossessed. (you will be able to re-apply for a garage when your arrears are cleared).
- Private residents applying for a garage will be asked to pay four weeks rent in advance on commencement of the garage rental, and monthly by direct debit thereafter.
- Some areas are very popular and you will be added to a waiting list if there are no garages available. We can add you to more than one list if there is more than one location that is suitable.
- You can report repairs to your garage to the Customer Service Centre, or by using our Online Repairs Service. You will need a PIN number and a password to raise a repair online.
