All the properties that we manage are let via Locata, the choice based letting scheme.
If your bid is successful, you will be invited to view the property with a member of Hounslow Homes staff. Once you have accepted a property, you will be asked to sign a tenancy agreement . We will give you all the information and advice you need to start your tenancy in your new home.
We will provide you with a starter pack, which contains the following information:
•Reporting your repairs handbook
•Pay as you go contents Insurance leaflet
•Electoral Registration form (if you are not yet registered in the London Borough of Hounslow)
•A list of Utilities companies, i.e. gas and electricity suppliers
•An Application form for the Hounslow Furniture Project
•A notification of change of address form for Housing Benefit (if you are receiving benefits)
•Information on the Right to Buy scheme.
•A property information sheet to record important information about your home, such as the location of meters and stop valves.
