If the Anti-Social Behaviour, Harassment, Hate Crimes, Domestic Violence, Abuse of Adults at Risk or Abuse or Neglect of Children involves our residents and is carried out in or near our properties, we will take proportionate steps which will depend on the quality of evidence and what you consent to.
We will:-
- Interview you urgently to get full details of the incident.
- Tell you who is going to be dealing with your complaint and keep in touch with you.
- Arrange to fix emergency repairs as a result of the Anti-Social Behaviour.
- We may also install security measures where appropriate.
- Take photographs of the damage to use as evidence if we need to.
- Agree an action plan with you of what we can do, including legal action, police referral and alleged perpetrator action with your consent.
- Provide a list of organisations in your area that can support you, for example, Victim Support, the Police, the Council, Citizens Advice Bureau, and other community and voluntary groups.
- Consider re-housing only in serious cases in line with Hounslow Homes’ transfer policies and procedures.
