Grounds Maintenance

Grounds maintenance is regular garden care to communal areas on all estates, and is carried out by contractors.

The maintenance they will carry out on our behalf includes:

  • Grass cutting
  • Weeding
  • Maintenance of flowerbeds
  • Removing hazards such as overhanging branches, tree pruning and unturned roots.
  • Garden Maintenance for the disabled and Elderly

If the grass to your communal area has not been cut you can report this to the Customer Service Centre on 0800 085 65 75 or alternatively e-mail to customerservicecentre@hounslowhomes.org.uk

Please note that this type of maintenance is seasonal and is dependant on weather conditions. Poor weather will mean schedules will be affected

Trees on pavements

Trees situated on pavements outside properties which need to be pruned or are in an unsafe condition, can be reported to Street Management and Public Protection on 0208 583 5555.

Please note - If you have a tree in your front or rear garden it is your responsibility to ensure it is pruned and in a safe condition.

Garden Maintenance Scheme

The Garden Maintenance Scheme is a service for the elderly (over 60) or Disabled persons, who have no family or friends in the area that can help with keeping their garden neat and tidy.
