Windows

We are responsible for carrying out repairs to your windows, however, we are not responsible for glazing to windows (or internal doors).

  • If you are reporting a repair please tell us:
  • Which room the window is in?
  • What type of window you have (timber or UPVC frames)?
  • If the window is on the ground floor, or adjacent to a balcony can it be secured?
  • Have your windows been renewed in the last 12 months?
  • If the window is damaged, how did it happen?

If your window has been broken as a result of accidental damage by you, someone living with you or a visitor to your home, you will be recharged for the window to be re-glazed. The cost will depend on the type and size of the window.

We can carry out the repair or you can employ a qualified contractor to carry out the work.

If the damage has been caused as a result of vandalism or criminal damage and has been reported to the Police, we may carry out repairs if you can provide a crime reference number.

Please note: Hounslow Police are actively investigating false reports of criminal damage, which are being made by some tenants who do not want to be recharged for repairs. False reports will be classes as a non-crime and you may receive a Penalty Notice for Disorder (PND) for wasting Police time.

Contents Insurance

We advise all our tenants to take out contents insurance. We have a low cost scheme available for you to join. For more information visit the Contents Insurance page.
