If you have a burst pipe:
- Turn off the water immediately at the stopcock (which is usually under the kitchen sink). If in doubt or if you live in a communal block contact the Customer Service Centre on 0800 085 65 75 or the out of hours service on 020 8583 2222 when the Customer Service Centre is closed.
- Turn on all the taps to drain the water as quickly as possible from the system to stop flooding (remember to turn them back off before the stopcock is turned back on)
- If the water has been leaking turn off the electricity supply.
- Turn off all hot water boilers
- Contact the Customer Service Centre to report the problem.
Please do not attempt to carry out repairs yourself.
