We usually book appointments for repairs (when you report a problem), or if you need to speak to an estate manager about your rent account, anti social behaviour or a tenancy issue.
Our housing offices have duty officers’ available daily to discuss a range of issues such as rent, tenancy and anti social behaviour. You do not need an appointment and we operate on a first come first served basis.
Appointments are arranged at your nearest housing office, however, if you have difficulty reaching a housing office due to mobility problems we may be able to arrange an appointment for a member of staff to visit you at home.
We aim to give you a choice of appointment times. If we have to cancel an appointment for any reason we will contact you as soon as possible. We aim to meet with you promptly if you have an appointment.
Text reminders for repair appointments
From the week beginning 11 August, we will be sending you a reminder by text of any repairs appointments you have for the next day. You will be asked for your preferred contact number when you report a repair. This number is not just to enable us to send you a text, we may also need to contact you regarding the repair you have requested.
The text will be sent to all residents due to have a repair carried out the following working day. If you are sent a text on a friday this will be a reminder for your repair on Monday. Texts will appear on screen as a message on your mobile phone, or as a voice message if sent to a landline or home phone.
If you cannot keep your appointment, please let us know. Contact the Customer Service Centre on 0800 085 65 75. We can rebook your appointment and give the free appointment to someone else. This service is free to you as we pay all the costs. This service is being introduced to reduce the number of appointments missed by tenants.We aim to reduce the number of missed appointments by half this time next year.
