Gas and electric cookers
You are responsible for the fitting of your gas or electric cooker.
We will supply the electric point or a capped gas point. We do not supply the gas bayonet fitting.
The fitting of your cooker should always be carried out by a suitably qualified tradesperson, e.g. a corgi registered gas fitter. If you are purchasing a new cooker, the store selling the appliance will usually carry out fitting as part of the delivery for an additional charge.
Washing Machines and dishwashers
We will not supply any plumbing or carry out any alterations in order to fit washing machines or dishwashers. In some instances, the fittings may have been left in the property by a previous tenant.
Repairs to any damage caused by leaks from washing machines may be recharged to you if the washing machine was not fitted correctly.
