Sometimes, you will need to give us, or one of our contractors, access to your home.
For example:
- To allow us to carry out a repair
- There is risk of injury or damage to a neighbouring property
- There is a risk to public health.
- To allow us to carry out a Tenancy Check
- To allow us to carry out a Gas Service Check to your heating system (yearly)
In these cases, we have the right to access your home without giving you notice, although we will try to do so.
In most instances we will contact you by phone or write to you to let you know when we need to enter your home and will explain the reasons why we need to gain access. If you will not be available on the date/time we give you, contact the number on the letter and we will try to arrange another appointment slot.
